The Amsterdam channel locale has been added to the prestigious United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Heritage List! The choice was reported at the 34th Session of the World Heritage Committee in Brazil, making the channel locale the 9th World Heritage Site in The Netherlands.
