Neck, cleavage and hands

Neck and cleavage

The skin of your neck and cleavage often ages faster than the skin of your face. This is due to frequent sun exposure and inadequate use of sunscreen. But it is also due to the fact that in your neck and cleavage have less sebaceous glands and sweat glands. Prevention is always better than healing, so never forget to use a sunscreen when you leave the house. But if you already have a slight damage to the neck and the cleavage, you can undergo treatment with hyaluronic acid or carboxytherapy.

Also the skin of the hands are getting older when you age. This, in combination with frequently sun exposure, is the reason that the skin of your hands, just as the skin of your neck and cleavage, are aging faster than the skin of your face. The blood vessels and the skin are looking more vulnerable.

Carboxytherapy consists of injecting the skin with carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is an invisible, odourless gas. After injection under the skin, red blook cells release oxygen in the tissues, which causes the area to renew itself more quickly. The cells function better and the elastin and collagen production in the epidermis and dermis are stimulated.

Carboxytherapy before and after

Tanja: ‘My neck outdated much faster than my face. After the combination of laser and carboxytherapy treatment it looks much beter. I still have neck lines, but there are a lot less visible than before.’

Laser therapy before and after

Simone: ‘I’ve always protected myself with a high sun protection factor against sun damage, and I always use high quality skincare. Unfortunately, I never worried about my neck, and that’s why my nick looks much older than my face. With the laser I try to fix this a bit.’

Cleavage before and after

Vivian: ‘I was bothered by my pigmentation. Now after a few laser treatments it looks fresher.’

Hands before and after

Brenda: ‘I hated these liver spots (age spots) on my hands. The hands are an important part that show your age first.’

Is the treatment painful?

We can administer a topical anaesthetic to minimise any discomfort. Most clients report little or no pain during treatment.

How long does the treatment take?

Appointment times vary, depending on the desired effect, and you must attend a consultation. As a rough guide, the treatment can take around 30 minutes.

Is it safe?

Hyaluronic acid (Juvéderm or Restylane) is an endogenous substance, which means it is very safe. The body virtually does not react to it. An allergic reaction is very unlikely, and if necessary, the filler is soluble. This makes it a very suitable and safe product.

Is the carboxytherapy safe?

Yes, the carboxytherapy is a very safe treatment.

What’s the minimum age to undergo a treatment?

If you are younger than 18 years old, you cannot undergo cosmetic treatment at our clinic.

Will I receive guidance?

If you are afraid of needles and would still like to undergo treatment, we will provide additional guidance and ensure that you feel completely at ease. With the right tools, we can get you through the treatment without experiencing pain or distress.

What are the post treatment instructions?

We always suggest not to visit a beautician, tanning salon or sauna for a few days after the treatment.

What’s the best sleeping position after treatment?

Though it’s not the most popular position – only eight person of people sleep on their backs – it’s still the best.

How long will the results last?

The result of the filler treatment remains visible for 6 to 18 months. There are great individual differences, and usually, it says in much longer. The aging of the face continues slowly (it loses more volume), which can cause the result to decline somewhat. At this point, the filler is still present, but preserving the result with a touch-up treatment is desirable. We recommend not waiting until the result is completely gone, but coming back before everything disappears, this avoiding a yo-yo effect. We use smaller quantities during a touch-up treatment.

What if I am not satisfied?

Should you unfortunately be unsatisfied with the results, then we can easily dissolve the hyaluronic acid without any residual symptoms.
